 V. C. White D.D.S., M.S. Curriculum Vitae Dr. V. C. (Bud) White has been practicing Orthodontics since opening his first practice in 1963. He was graduated from Baldwin-Wallace College in 1957 with a Bachelor of Science Degree with a major-minor in General Science and went on to study Dentistry at Loyola University in Chicago where he studied with Dr. Paul Dawson who instructed him in Operative Dentistry and awarded him the Operative Dentistry Award. The world-renowned Dr. Harry Sicher, Professor of Anatomy and Histology, passed on his profound scientific thinking process as well as academic knowledge and had invaluable impetus for the development of Dr. Whites’ science for Bio\analytic mechanics theorem and the Vector III hypothesis. He was graduated in 1961 and decided to go on to study Orthodontics at Loyola University Graduate Orthodontics Department with the highly respected and world-renowned Dr. Joseph R. Jarabak, Clinical Professor and Chairman of the Department of Orthodontics at Loyola and co-author of Technique and Treatment with the Light-wire Appliance, and which Dr. White contributed to. Co-author Professor James A. Fizell, B. S., Engineering whose’ contribution was engineering and statistical factorial design of research aided Dr. White on his Thesis and helped him for 15 years on his numerous patents. Dr White wrote The Influence of Spring Design Upon Spring Rate as his Masters Thesis in June 1963, which helped him attain his Master of Science Degree. He was also given the Milo Hellmann recognition for his contribution in Orthodontics. Dr. White then went on to teach with Dr. J. R. Jarabak at Loyola University for 9 years while building a practice of his own and a strong reputation as a very knowledgeable scientist and orthodontist. Dr. White started V. C. Labs, a corporation, soon after starting his practice and has been instrumental in developing a great many orthodontic, medical, dental and laboratory products. He has held numerous patents in both design and engineering. He currently has multiple patents on VECTOR III spring systems and is currently working in research and development for new science and related clinical support products Dr. White has been a member of Delta Sigma Delta since college and a member of the American Association of Orthodontics since 1963. He is also a member of the Wisconsin Dental Association, Racine County Dental Association, Midwest Society of Orthodontics, American Orthodontic Society, International Association of Orthodontics, American Society for Bone and Mineral Research, The World Federation of Orthodontics & is a Senior Instructor for the International Association of Orthodontics as well as the AGD/PACE Program. He and his wife Donna have been providing seminars based on their textbook “Orthodontic Principles, Not Just Another Spring, from Bio-Mechanics to Bio\Analytic Mechanics” with CE credit for dentists and dental specialists since 2003. Additionally he has made presentations to American Society for Bone and Mineral Research Group relating to dental alveolar bone and VECTOR III’s ability via new science to remodel bone for the 1st time.   

 Donna White is co-author of the orthodontic textbook, written with Dr. V. C. “Bud” White, “Orthodontic Principles, Not Just Another Spring, Beyond Bio-Mechanics, To Bio\Analytic™ Mechanics” Additionally she is a member of the Cambridge Who’s Who. She has helped Dr. White write many of his patents, helps him in his seminars, and publishes his many writings on orthodontics. She has designed and created the  Original VECTOR III® website, www.VECTORIIIORTHO.com. She is also co-owner of VECTOR III®, LLC which is a private company, with intellectual properties, patents, trademarks, copyrights, textbooks, seminars and supports products as well as our patented Vectorloy Wire.
